Kafeel Kaif is a dynamic fashion entrepreneur with a rich and varied background in design and commerce. Armed with a Master’s in Design and a Master’s in Commerce from the prestigious Jamia Millia Islamia, alongside a specialized Fashion Design course from JD Institute of Fashion Technology in Hauz Khas, Delhi, and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Accounts Honors, Kafeel has seamlessly integrated creativity with business acumen.
Kafeel's passion for fashion has been evident since his early school days when he began designing his own clothes. His professional journey began with an internship under the renowned fashion designer Rina Dhaka in Delhi, where he gained invaluable insights into high fashion. He further enhanced his experience by working as a wardrobe assistant at prominent fashion shows, including Lakme Fashion Week, Delhi Times Fashion Week, and Indian Couture Week. These opportunities allowed him to explore the fashion world from the inside, working with top Indian fashion designers and learning the intricacies of ramp shows—from trials and fittings to the organized chaos backstage, culminating in the final ramp walk. He also gained significant exposure by attending numerous fashion exhibitions, where he deepened his understanding of how the fashion business operates in the market.
Kafeel's entrepreneurial spirit led him to run a successful manufacturing unit in Delhi for nearly two years, specializing in B2B women’s wear such as Punjabi suits, saris, and lehenga cholis, with a strong emphasis on hand-embroidered designer pieces. He later expanded his expertise in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where he spent almost three years manufacturing men’s wear collections, including suits, sherwanis, coat pants, and blazers for well-known brands like AJAY Arvind Khatri & Sons and Ratan pole Wholesaler.
Today, Kafeel is the Founder and Director of Zarpoash LLP, a forward-thinking clothing brand start-up based in Okhla, Delhi. Incubated at Jamia Millia Islamia University’s Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Zarpoash is dedicated to producing sustainable designer wear with a particular focus on wedding collections for both brides and grooms, as well as ladies' Kurtis, dresses, unisex shirts, and blazers. The brand is celebrated for its high-quality handwork, innovative designs, and ability to stay ahead of fashion trends while offering personalized, designer wear tailored to each customer's unique preferences.
